I have failed already in my attempts at my sewing goals this year so far.  I have made some stuff, but... So here is my version of the Hawthorn Dress by Colette Patterns.

I am starting to make some items to donate, AND getting ready to join the Dress Like Your Grandma Sewing Challenge!  Yay!

It seems like a failure.  I spent the first few months of 2016 pretty focused on my game.  Still, I never got a BINGO.  I also did not stop buying fabric.  The whole point of the BINGO game was to use my stash and not buy more stuff.

Sorry it's been so long since I have updated.  I am currently working on a project but am very far behind in everything including the Bag of The Month Club.  I am, however, on book 6 of the Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter.

I haven't done any writing this summer, so this space has been bare.  Sorry.  I did get some skirts done for Skirting The Issue, and we dropped them off yesterday for the Florence Crittenton School Supply Drive.

I made simple skirts again this year, and I even sewed sizing tags in!

Back in the rut of not writing.  The Bag of The Month Club ended and started up again!  I am excited for July's release.  Here's my June bag by Chris W. Designs.  It was tough, but I made it through.  

The fabric is Millie's Closet by Riley Blake.

Normally, I don't make the big name brand patterns.  They make me nuts as the directions never seem to make sense to me.  I keep trying though.  This one caught my eye.  It is so pretty and so me.

A few months ago I went to a Treelotta Pop-Up and bought this pretty rayon fabric.  I decided, as I purchased it, that it would be a blouse.  I really don't make blouses.  At that point, the hunt was on to find a pattern...

My sewing machine is in the shop.  I'm lost.

Today I cut some things out.  Not good enough.  I've been listening to Chumped.  That helps a tiny bit.

Still no BINGO for me.  Seriously.  I have been sewing alot (except for when I was sick), but I haven't been focused on the BINGO.  Oh well.  Also, I fell off the wagon bought a bunch of fabric.  Not cool.
