Sewing for School

No, it is not super beautiful, but it is functional.  This is the pencil case I made for my 2nd grader.  I followed the tutorial over at Spoonful of Sugar.  I realized a little too late the mistakes about where to stop and start the zipper tape.  If I make this one again, I will adjust it.  I think my 2nd grader will love it, so I am not going back to re-do anything.

 

 

 

 

Here is my new favorite song:  It is "What Went Wrong" by Into Another.  Richie Birkenhead has been one of my favorite singers/poets since I was a teenager.  This song reminds me of how amazing he is.
